Our High Holiday Service Leadership
Rabbi Bridget Wynne, Rabbi Stephanie Kennedy, and Musician Joel Siegel lead Jewish Gateways High Holiday services.

Rabbi Bridget Wynne (she, her), Executive Director of Jewish Gateways, has led our High Holiday services since we first offered them in 2009. She brings to the services her warmth, creativity, depth of knowledge, and commitment to addressing the big questions of life with openness and honesty.

Rabbi Stephanie Kennedy (she, her) leads family services that allow children to meaningfully access Judaism with creativity and joy. Having led youth High Holiday services in a range of settings, including Conservative synagogues and nature-based alternative Jewish communities, Rabbi Stephanie is eager to meet all participants where they are, guiding them with humility and humor. Learn more about Rabbi Steph's background and journey.
Musician Joel Siegel (he, his) brings his deep knowledge of Jewish music and his love of enabling people to connect through melody and song. He has led music at camps, synagogues, and other Jewish venues throughout the Bay Area for many years, and performed with a number of Jewish groups, such as Adamah, as well as recording and performing Ladino music with singer Rivka Amado.

Jewish Gateways' unique High Holiday prayer book is also an important part of how our services are led.
We've designed it to help you connect with the holidays in personally meaningful ways.
They prayer book is no-experience-necessary, includes poetry, writing, and songs on themes of the season, and is appropriate for those who know Hebrew and those who do not.
