Beyond Cynicism, Hopelessness, and Fear
Tuesday, September 27, 2016
7:00-9:00pm
home in North Berkeley, address given on RSVP
Many conversations these days soon move to cynicism, hopelessness, or fear, whether about the political climate ... the multiple conflicts in the world ... or a more personal sense of powerlessness in one's own life.
Judaism offers compelling teachings that can help us acknowledge and move beyond these perspectives. As we approach the High Holidays, during which we reflect on how we want to use our precious time, Rabbi Bridget will lead us in exploring the power we do have, and the inspiration to use it.
The fee is $15 per person.
RSVP here.
