Saturday Nights for the Soul
Meaningful Jewish ritual, and a chance to explore and reflect on the big issues of life.
Scheduled several times a year on Saturday evenings.
Rabbi Bridget leads us in learning and sharing insights about a significant, real life issue, drawing on Jewish wisdom to discover how we can address life's many challenges, appreciate its many joys, and live more authentic, meaningful, and engaged lives.
We also enjoy eating, conversation, and havdalah -- the brief and beautiful ritual that marks the end of one week and welcomes the next.
Our schedule is:
6:00-6:30pm: Food, drinks, and conversation
6:30-8:00pm: Learning and discussion begin promptly at 8:00pm, followed by havdalah
8:00pm: More time for food, drinks, and conversation
WHERE: We gather in a participant's home. Address and directions are given on registration.
WHO: This an adult event. Beyond that, all are welcome. You don’t need to be Jewish to draw on the universal riches of Jewish tradition!
HOW: Registration is requested, and space is limited. If possible, please bring a snack or dessert for 8 to share. We will supply drinks.
