Join Jewish Gateways for the 14th year of our welcoming, inclusive, and engaging High Holiday services outdoors beneath an open tent in Berkeley and live online

Rosh Hashanah begins Friday, Sept. 15
Yom Kippur begins Sunday, Sept. 24

About Jewish Gateways High Holiday Services

The services are meaningful and relevant, in both English and Hebrew.

All are welcome. No experience is necessary!

Jewish Gateways High Holiday services bring to life the themes of the season: reflection on the year ending and the new one beginning, repairing relationships, making changes, living our values, forgiveness, and more.

Join us in person or online. We encourage you to invite family and friends, locally or across the country.

We offer services for all, including special services for families. There will also be hands-on holiday activities for children of all ages.

We are sorry to share that our beloved High Holiday musician, Joel Siegel, is in the hospital and won’t be able to be with us. We are hoping and praying for his recovery. If you’d like to learn more about how he’s doing or share words of support, please go to this online journal friends and family have created.
