Shabbat and Holiday Celebrations for Young Children

Celebrate Jewish Experiences as a Family

Join fellow families in celebrating Jewish holidays and Shabbat throughout the year at Jewish Gateways events led by Rabbi Steph Kennedy.

Experience a vibrant mix of music, storytelling, movement, and hands-on activities in a relaxed setting, perfect for young children and their families.

These gatherings are designed for families with children aged 1-5, though older and younger siblings are warmly welcomed.

We Welcome All: Interfaith, intercultural, BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, neurodiversity, low-income, single parents, grandparents, Jew-ish, Jews by choice, non-Jews, cultural and secular Jews.

No Jewish knowledge or experience necessary.

Upcoming Events

Join Rabbi Stephanie Kennedy, Jen Altman from the Jewish Baby Network, and Alison Sorscher from PJ Library for a delightful morning at the best Tot Park in Berkeley! We’ll have a blast singing, dancing, playing, enjoying some yummy snacks, and most importantly, connecting with each other. We can’t wait to see you there!

This event is for families with children 0- 36 months. We welcome everyone, including unaffiliated, single and multi-parent, multi-faith, multi-ethnic, multi-abled, and LGBTQ+ families.
