I am passionate about meeting individuals and families "where they are" and helping them explore Jewishness in an open environment and find what is meaningful, alive, and real for them. I discovered that there were few places to learn about Judaism where there are no assumptions about participants' knowledge or identity and they can explore at their own pace. That's why I founded Jewish Gateways.

As a rabbi and educator, building community, creative education, and empowering all learners to meaningfully access Judaism are guiding priorities for me. Along with a love of Torah, I am fascinated by what makes education successful and what it means to be a people with a connection to and a responsibility for the earth.

I am excited to be a part of the Jewish Gateways team and community. I have spent years thoughtfully working towards living a meaningful Jewish life. As a Chilean Jew, it is imperative to me to be part of an organization that prioritizes diversity and inclusion not only in its ethics but also in its practices.
